We understand getting the same group together can be difficult. For corporate functions like team building, we can reschedule up to a year in advance. If rescheduling or gift certificates won't work, up to a 50% refund may be considered.
For larger private groups, an 18% service charge is added for instructors and guides. We pre-pay reservation and credit card fees so those are not passed on to you.
Segway PT riders must be 14+ (Ninebots for ages 10–14), e-bike riders 10+ if tall enough, and paddleboarders 10+ if good swimmers. Everyone signs a waiver; under 18 need a parent or guardian signature. Pair an active option with a trolley so nobody sits out.
Tours run regardless of weather aside from extreme conditions. Generally no cooler than 55°F and sunny for paddleboarding, 40°F for Segway and e-bike, and typically no Segway tours over 90°F.
Segway and e-bike tours start at our downtown staging office, 176 YWCA Way off South Main Street at The Gateway in Winston-Salem, with free parking. Paddleboarding is at Salem, Belews or Oak Hollow Lake — or we come to your lake. Trolleys can pick up at your hotel or venue.
Yes — you're encouraged to bring your own snacks and drinks. Trolley outings can be built around brewery, winery, distillery or restaurant stops.
